That’s a trick. That fish really isn’t that big. Proportion
it to her hands and they would be bigger than her head.

Or she has really big hands. Still a pretty lady though.

Not with that body-shape.

I’ve caught hundreds of both. That’s a localized rainbow.

I’ve caught a 20 pound steelie. They are much more bullet-shaped. Always. Never that fat in the center.

I’ll bet money that critter lived directly below a hydro dam, and ate up the chopped fish (probably out-migrating steelhead and salmon smolt) that came through the turbines.

Extreme growth in a rainbow that causes a fat center like that is usually associated with extreme food supply.

THAT is a nice fish. Article never mentions what caught that critters attention. I’m bettin’ that dude was a bait dunker. Chopped fish?
