He’s very good and he even says that, as good as he might be, he’s not nearly as good as a typical archer would have been when it was the weapon of choice.

Impressive! I recall being 5 or 6 years old and picking up a bow and arrow for the first time. As a right-handed person I wanted to shoot from the right of the bow. It seemed natural. But I was forced to unnaturally move the arrow to the left of the bow. It seemed so wrong then. This guy shows me that my child-like intuition was correct.

Does anyone have a link that well-noted article "What good is a bow and arrow against an army"? [/jk]
These guy is very impressive. Kind of makes Legolas in the LOTR movies a little less ridiculous. Apparently that kind of shooting can really be done.

He does a lot trick shots but he’s using a 10-20# child’s bow. I want to see him pull a 70# warbow and shoot it accurately at 100 meters.

While very effective, it also took a HUGE amount of training to master using the bow and arrow in this manner. What made the bow and arrow so deadly during the Battle of Agincourt was the fact the English used the Welsh long bow, which had a lot of range and large company of bowmen armed with them could take down anything at over 100 yards range.
