Silly and unthoughtful. Full of fantasy. May I ask if you are a former Alan Keyes supporter?

Again, Dave, I was RIGHT HERE when it all unfolded. Go look up my posts from the time. I said the entire primary field was a joke and that Conservative activists needed to storm the convention hall (if the bad guys can do it, why not the good guys ?) and demand Willard, who was opposed by an overwhelming majority of the Conservative base, be dumped in favor of a unifying and legitimate candidate who actually could win, and that was Gov. Walker.

Nobody is honor-bound to go down with a sinking ship, Dave.

P.S. I don’t drink, Dave.

A more accurate statement is that 1 out of every 20 households in the US have a net worth of a $1 million - obviously much of that wealth is the equity of their home. One out of six citizens is incorrect.

Hey, man, I just tell the truth. Where were you in 2012 during the clown show, Dave ? I was right here. You call what I say “fantasy, silly, unthoughtful” (btw, that last one screams liberal media pejorative, total weasel squish/RINOspeak), I call it taking on the corrupt establishment cabal.

No, I was not an Alan Keyes supporter in 2012. I supported drafting Scott Walker to nominate DIRECTLY from the floor of the convention, as my posts will bear out.

I take it you were big on Willard: the fixed, paid-for, and foisted ringer for Zero for the RINO establishment.

I do understand; Romney could have won and decided to basically play the prevent defense during the campaign. However, the convention choice was made during the primaries. The outcome could not have been changed at the convention. The delegates are required to vote their commitment on the first ballot - it really is no more complicated than that.

Walker is pro-Shamnesty. A sure loser.

Didn't you get the memo? We are supposed to over look that.

No, Dave, he was never going to win. Not in a general, not ever. It was a total sideshow and farce (there was no “choice” in the primaries — it was a pre-selected fix. It was like watching an Illinois campaign, where the Combine decides who runs, who gets nominated, and who wins).

As with McCain, he was there to insure NO Conservative got near the nomination and have a viable opponent for Zero. The GOP is rotten and corrupt to the core and not enough people recognize that (but Sen. Cruz does, and that’s why he has my support).

Good speech by Walker - his recounting of the death threats he and his family received during his fights against the unions in Wisconsin were chilling - there are some real ugly Americans out there amonst the peace and love contingent - he’s a proven fighter, and that’s enough for me in 2016......

Walker and Perry seem the most able of the prospective candidates especially since Perry became more conservative regarding illegals.

I prefer the experience a governor brings rather than a that of a congressperson or senator. Walker is my first choice at this point. I liked Perry last time around, but he was disappointing in the primaries. I also like Jindal.

The GOP dearly needs a big swing state to stay in the running. Without one, the road to the top is very hairy. Obvious choices would be Ohio, Virginia or Florida. I can't think of anyone from those states who could head the GOP ballot but Kasich or Rubio might be helpful in the VP slot. McDonnell ruined the GOP in VA unfortunately.

It may be a bit earlier for Rubio, though. I'd like to see him run for FL governor first and get that under his belt. If he's successful in that role, he would be a formidable presidential candidate.

Walker’s my first choice.

2012 is history, frack it. Unfortunately DJ “Dump Mitt” after he won a majority of the delegates was not something that was gonna happen outside of the confines of candyland, we don’t live in candyland.

Just to elaborate, it’s perfectly fine to prefer Cruz, but for real and relevant reasons (like thinking he’s a better conservative and/or leader and/or candidate) not because Walker failed to live up to fantasy wish fulfillment in 2012.

The whole point was to storm the convention......Willard should’ve been run out of that convention with pitchforks.

Hey bartender!!

I'll have some of what fieldmarshaldj is drinking. Must be awesome stuff!!!

Drat, if only we had all gotten behind that lying Socialist piece of excrement Willard, he’d have won ! Hate to disappoint you, Eric, I don’t drink. When the GOP gives me and millions of Conservatives the middle finger, they can stick it. If the bad guys can storm events and functions to further an evil agenda, why can’t the good guys do so for a good one ? The good guys stopped an execrable RINO Governor in my state from foisting an illegal income tax by literally storming the capitol building. It actually worked, Eric. But I guess for some folks, they just prefer getting it right in the backdoor, over and over again, and asking for more.

I was referring to Singapore, not USA.
Sorry, I did not explicitly state that in my post.

Well I got Trumps speech...but I have to say I still like the man....he's unafraid to call it as it is...I loved he said Jeb and Romney cannot get the nomination and why...beautiful.

I see Trump rather like Sarah...he's a great cheerleader....and he's on our team for the most part. Would love to see him in Washington actually....he's not about being pushed around and great at pushing back..and would.

Yes, competence for a change and that seems to be Walker. However, as the current occupants of our White House amply demonstrate competence does not persuade a trivial sick people.

Texas prospered under his governance and I said he apparently become MORE conservative on the illegal. However, he would be a media target of the first order due to his gaff last election.
