Everyone arguing that the ambient temperature caused 2 psi of deflation is ignoring the fact that the Colts balls, which were tested at the same temperature before the game, were measured and found to be still in compliance.

There’s an assumption or two which aren’t correct unless th Colts were messing with pressure. The assumption that doesn’t work is that the Colts balls started at room temperature and within specs if they were at 13.5 PSI at halftime. Rather than explaining how they defied physics demonstrated for centuries, a simpler explanation was that hey were never warm. If they had been at 75F, then cooling to 50F would nessarily have caused the pressure to drop 1.2 PSI, even without getting wet.

There’s really no room for debate there. If they ended at 13.5 and had been warm at inspection, they could not have been within specs At inspection. It’s basic math, which accurately represents physical reality as experimentally shown literally millions of times...probably to you as well.
