PHOENIX — The New England Patriots owner and Seattle Seahawks cornerback were trading insults while the NFL was reportedly reviewing video of a Patriots employee going into the bathroom with a bag of footballs.
Just when you thought Super Bowl Media Day couldn’t get any more bizarre...
Thanks to DeflateGate, though, there seems to be no limit to this theater of the absurd, which took yet another twist as the Patriots and Seahawks met a mass of reporters at the U.S. Airways Center on Tuesday. The backdrop was a report that the NFL had video of a Patriots locker room attendant carrying a bag of 24 balls into a bathroom, where he stayed for 90 seconds before the AFC Championship Game.
The main event, though, was Pats owner Robert Kraft saying his players viewed DeflateGate as “a bunch of hogwash” and striking back at Richard Sherman, two days after Seattle’s mouthy cornerback ripped NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for being too close to Kraft.
“I think Richard Sherman is a very smart marketing whiz,” Kraft deadpanned...

Exactly...we also.dont know if an accomplice was not already waiting in the switcheroo or ‘hiss’ room...changing the purpose of the room from one defined by a rhyming word starting with a ‘p’
Thanks for the Taylor time and motion analasys, lol. It’s possible the guy handling the balls was a one man pitcrew, but as a Pats fan , I’ll go with the assessment he was merely taking a pit stop. It was the bathroom , after all.

Sherman might be a friggin genius. Using his outwitting of Skip Bayless as proof is pathetic. Skip would be bested by most second graders.

Possibly practicing from when football training camp opens and doing it every game day for the last 7 or 8 years. If this happened, and I believe it did, I doubt seriously this was a one time shot. Possibly only at home games.
This year will be the first year I am skipping the Superbowl out of choice possibly in my entire life.
I cannot stand either teams, thier coaches and many of their players.
About the only person I respect that’s playing is Russel Wilson.

I’ll watch, I don’t like either of them, I believe Coach Carol has cheated at least in college but haven’t heard of the assholes cheating, it’s still a tough decision. I think I’ll place a small wager on the cheaters and then pull for the assholes, if I win the bet that would be a consolation.

I despise most urban athletes. To a “T” they are typical.
I would bet that Sherman is typical too...93% of blacks voted for a racist in 2012. But if by miracle Sherman is different and a legit courageous man, then I’d love to hear about it and I’d even follow the young man.
Why? When you were 16 years old you were hoping for some OTHER team (without drugs, etc. in your mind), dreaming of THEIR success? Which team?
Well... he’s a wee bit busy at the moment preparing for the Partiots... But I’ll let him know when the season’s done...
