I did not include this passage from the web page because it was not relevant to discussions of the ocean:
“However, note that this may not apply to everything. If you had solid alcohol floating in water, when it melts, the level would drop, because water and alcohol mix at the molecular level; i.e. water filling spaces among alcohol molecules.”
Also, flavors and aromas and aromas are released when you add water to whiskey.
No, No, No! An H20 ice cube in Bourbon! I don’t think I can freeze alcohol into a solid at home.
Invert the model.
I did the inversion and it was good. Now all I have is an ice cube melting in the bottom of my glass. Life is good.
It’s all about tectonics and geology and metallurgy and spin and..
We live on a breathing ‘living’ planet.
It sighs and it groans.. Volcano’s are like pimples
To what lies below..
That’s a good one tho!
Thanks!!!
The Mole People would know for sure. ;-]
Oh, please...give me a freaking break.
Ever toss a big chunk of ice in a pool straight out to a deep freezer ;-? Dry nice is even cooooler.
Snap crackle pop and then some..

My point is that someday soon some loon on a government grant is going to put a microphone on the ocean floor and bemoan the ‘sound of the earth’ struggling under the stress of ‘climate change’.
(I had great difficulty typing with all the dripping sarcasm fouling my typing)
