I thought she was a good 15 years younger! In fact, I always thought she was a bit too young and spry to be Miss Marple. But she was very enjoyable to watch.

RIP and she was a fine actress, however I could not help comparing her to the one true Miss Marple, Margaret Rutherford. There are some roles that to me will always belong to just one actor.

Miss Marple was ok as a character in Christie’s movies. But I much prefer Hercule Poirot’s character - he is funnier & more devious.
