Sorry, right-wingers: a new study suggests liberals live longer than conservatives and moderates.
But affiliating with either the Democratic or Republican parties didn't really affect death date: Members from both kicked the bucket about the same time, according to the Journal of Epidemiology & Community Health study.
Researchers studied nearly 33,000 Americans from 1976 to 2008. Despite party lines, those who identified as liberal outlived moderates and conservatives, even when variables were adjusted. And independents were much less likely to die within the study period than nonindependent peers

If we were to have taken a poll in February of 1945, including those millions that died in Hitler’s concentration camps, how do you suppose the average life expectancies for Aryans versus Jews would have appeared?

The article states the study associates religiosity, civic participation, and individual responsibility with liberals. Classic, historical liberals, perhaps, but not current day, lazy @-hole liberals. Classic liberals *are* conservative. Study and reporting on it are AFU and worthless.

I think they counted the deceased who are so attracted to the national leader and the Party at every election so far.
Summing up the study:
“In the USA, researchers theorized that political beliefs are a marker for religiosity, civic participation or values that emphasize individual responsibility, each of which has been shown correlated with a healthier pattern of behaviors (e.g., alcohol and tobacco abstinence),” the authors write.”

So the longest living are females. Females are generally more liberal than males. This survey shows females are outliving males.
Probably because they live in la-la land and never need worry about supporting themselves. That’s why they “need” the government.
I stopped reading as soon as I saw the pejorative, “right winger.”
