GAH!!! I HATE green!
You really know how to make people feel better, Bob.
When Linda awakened, the process had been completed. Another young woman was standing in front of her.
“Pearl?” Linda asked. The figure nodded. She was looking curiously around the room. Linda took the moment to study her appearance.
Her hair was pure white, as you would see on the oldest of the old. But her complexion was as smooth and youthful as a child’s. Her body had filled out to normal human proportions, perhaps a little too normal. Since a majority of the young women available to study had been of incredible physical beauty, including some with ‘enhancements,’ Ruby had apparently set the standard rather high.
Her nude figure stood gracefully in a posture of energetic readiness. The white hair made a surprising contrast to the mellow tone of her skin. She looked as though she had been strolling on the beaches for months. Pearl looked at Linda with piercing blue eyes, and a bright smile.
“I think I am ready to meet people now. How are you feeling?”

Twenty-four of twenty-nine. Pearl tries to keep her status as an android a secret, while she tries to be accepted and pass as a human. But it is not a secret from the reader.
I just brought it over so that 'Face would see that being an android doesn't mean you'd have to be unattractive.
But in the land of Goo G'le being green is mandatory...
That would be John Scalzi. He gave his androids green skin, with chlorophyll.
My androids are attempting to walk with men, not against them. Eventually, one or both of us become the other.

Your county isn't on the Governor's disaster area list (at least when that was published) but Hays and Kendall are. And you have that lake in the middle, I assume that it's dammed as opposed to natural. How is that holding up?
There is only one or two natural lakes in Texas.
The lake is way over normal levels, about 10 feet last I heard, and it was 10 feet too low just 2 weeks ago.
Last I looked at the radar down there Houston was getting flushed.
How high does the lake have to be to run over the spillway and gouge a new gorge?
(Looked at something from Corps of Engineers that said Canyon Lake normal level was 909 feet and present level is 923 feet.)

I hope everyone memorialized yesterday (perhaps better than I did).
The situation looked grim as the enemy numbers threatened to overwhelm our small band of heroes. But just as they steeled themselves for the final attack there was a noise at the far end of the cavern. The enemy drew back, looking confused and frightened. A dim glow appeared from a tunnel in the distance.
“What new develry is this?” the Wizard asked, more to himself than to his company.
A low chanting sound began to eminate from the area of the glow. “Take their money. Destroy their army. Crush their hopes.”
“Oh, no!” the Wizard said as his face fell.
“TAKE THEIR MONEY!”
“What is it?” asked the Elf.
“DESTROY THEIR ARMY” The thing was clearly coming closer.
“This foe is greater than any of us here can withstand,” answered the Wizard.
“CRUSH THEIR HOPES.”
“But what is it?” the elf demanded again.
“TAKE THEIR MONEY! DESTROY THEIR ARMY! CRUSH THEIR HOPES!” The enemy which had surrounded them fled in terror.
“It is a creature from the deepest of depths. A being of smoke and mirrors. It is,” he paused before continuing, as if he could not speak the name. “It is the Obamarog! Run! Run for your lives!”
