She looks far better than those models from a few year back; the type of woman that the author Tom Wolfe once described as “starved to perfection”.

So, it seems the feminazis have not erased the words: “zaftig”, or, “rubenesque” from the male lexicon, and I love it!!!

Look in any department store "womens" section.....or in any womens' wear catalogue to see what "plus-sizes" really are labeled. They're certainly not size 12, nor anywhere close to it.
Plus-sizes are generally 18 and up, or X-large and up. The magazine model is tall....and tall size options are also sold in many stores and catalogues but in a different category.
The "Plus-Size" referred to in the SI magazine is misleading, false and pure bait for readership.

That’s not the same model...you linked to an article about size 16 Ashley Graham, who really is plus-size (chubby).

I'm sorry but she's NOT plus size no matter what the fashion industry and sports illustrated says.
It's a freaking joke that SI considers her plus size.
This is a plus size model and still hot. She came out of an advert that will appear in SI. Not an actual SI model.

No girl with a flat stomach is “plus size”. She is big (as in tall) and physically fit, but she does NOT look like the women who shop in “plus size” stores.

Although a bit chubby, she still looks good, and hardly any heterosexual guy would toss he out of bed.
The problem is, weight which looks OK on a 20-something girl will rapidly turn to sags and lumps once she passes 30.

I agree. I am a woman and I wanna see near perfect women in Sports Illustrated. What is wrong with ideals?
I find the acceptance of fat troubling. But I guess fat has been considered desirable in the other times. Though then it was a symbol of affluence and status. Now, not so much.

...Plus-Size Model...
Another deception by the Media, If I look around in my neighborhood....as a single macho man with a good drive.
General Public:: too skinny, HIV suspect.
Me:: absolute desired, but not available or nonexistent.
General Public:: Normal, Healthy, desired. approved by WHO
Me::Nothing to brag about, but o.k., might have an Attitude, FallBack #3
General Public:: slightly overweight, but has a nice disposition & dresses nice.
Me::absolute forbidden, but after reviewing all options with a enough tranquilizer, possible, fallback #9
Hope no one is offended.
