HA GOOD ONE.
Our cat occasionally comes to greet me when I get home from work at night, runs over to me, seems to be glad to see me. It is a good feeling.

Felines running to welcome their owners is nothing new to cat owners. Happens all the time.
When I was a kid, our cat knew when my dad would be coming home from work. A few minutes beforehand, he would go to the storm door, stand up on his hind legs, and look outside, waiting for him to come into sight. When the car pulled into the driveway, the cat started to meow.

When I was commuting back and forth to LAX from Ventura county, my neighbor once told me she always knew when I had returned from a trip because my cat would start crying at the door across the hall about an hour before I would drive up.

So funny! That’s just how cats are! One of our cats gets mad at us when we’re gone on vacation and he ignores us for a time, but eventually comes around and comes and sees us.

About what I expected, cat’s just get pissed that you were gone and they make sure you know it before they forgive you. Yep. Our housesitters tell us our cats mope around the whole time we are gone. When we get home they pointedly ignore us for about an hour then climb up on us, wrap their paws around an arm and go to sleep.
