"It's not a problem. It's a joke!"

LOL Now you've done it, Candor7.

Well done, and that’s without trying to have ground like a Big Banger, when in fact there can only be groundless, unending , vast space, full of luminosity and wisdom, without beginning or end (aka dharmakaya!) :-)

more likely, that knowledge isn’t pertinent, as God could/did create the universe as is, heavy elements and all.

You may want to consider that ‘theory’ is a word used to describe that which is UNPROVEN, yet presumed true based on our own limited understanding.

The Theory of Relativity is one that the properties of it have been observed. The Theory of Evolution, not so much.

Theory is a body of findings based of tests and trials and experiments. The TOE has been tested repeatedly. Endogenous Retro Viruses shows common descent for many species. Humans and chimps have a common ancestor; ERVs demonstrate this. Modern genetic science shows the common descent of many related species.

I’m sorry if you don’t want to believe this but its not a matter of consensus. Look up ERVs. The information is readily available on line.

The Big Bang happened when a scientist in God’s laboratory dropped a drop of universe on a slide. The resulting splash produced the galaxies and us..... really.

...as God could/did create the universe as is...

Even the Bible doesn't say that. Genesis 1:2 says that the Earth was "without form". That's not "as is".

We know where the heavy elements came from, as stars are the only thing hot enough to form them. The guy who wrote Genesis got the order wrong, which is understandable from someone who lived during the Bronze Age.

Maybe, there's a black hole at the centre of every galaxy which gobbles up all matter, and spits it out into a mirror anti-galaxy, and this goes on 'over there' as well, so there's an endless and infinite destruction-creation cycle which has always been and always will be. Always is Timeless and Space has no boundaries; the universe is a continuous cycle of death and rebirth. Maybe?

I have always had a problem with the idea that time has a beginning.

from (3.33 time)

...First the silence, then the heat

Then fear sets in

Afraid you're gonna get an answer you don't want to hear

The truth puts blisters on my skin

Now, I got a problem

with this whole concept, you see

Ain't no beginning, no end

It seems like every time I think I've arrived

A whole new trip begins...

_______________________ And the difference is, should I say, the problem is

I've never been so high

Only difference is, little differences

And

I don’t think any proper scientist has called the Big Bang “settles science”. It is the best theory we have at the moment, but it gets tested and prodded and inspected every day, all over the globe, looking for was to improve or refute it. That’s what actual science does... it’s called the scientific method.

Exactly Maybe but it is highly likely that we get to find out for sure when our bodies die and our consciousness is liberated, that is if we die calmly with lucid consciousness.

Some Tibetan lamas over the last thousand years or so have done that and came back to write about it.So that’s as close as we are allowed to get unless science has a way to experiment with consciousness and cosmos. But it looks like they are slightly myopic on the physical , so far, in terms of what is observed and the continually changing observer
perspective. We only have a very partial picture because the energy aspects of our cosmos are so poorly understood. We are still mapping what is out there, but not what is in here, or the energy connections in between.

It's going to take too long to hold my interest, while the content of our galaxy gets gobbled up and swallowed by a black hole that turns everything back into elemental matter, and that space dust has to wait its turn to be transformed with the aid of electro-magnetism into a spherical concretion which contains all the sparks required to generate endless possibilities of life-forms...amongst which in the fullness of endless time, another Fred Nerks arises...

Oh yes, absolutely, another Fred Nerks definitely arises. Some say as soon as 49 days after the former one subsides! One of my favorite slogans these days is:

““You’re a ghost driving a meat coated skeleton made from stardust. What do you have to be afraid of?”

“I always read that God’s first act was “Let there be light.””

Nope, check it again:

“1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”
