I admit I was surprised when I logged onto FR and saw so many of these threads in a short time, but I don’t think it can be overdone.
It needs to be overdone, IMO. I am waiting for some more info, but on the surface...this is bad, very bad. I think we all agree on THAT.
You can tell by the posts that this is the last one and commented on before moving on to the next. Let the mods remove it if they choose.
A forum operates best when the rules for open discourse are voluntarily followed by all. The structure of this site works best when all comments on a particular article, or one that is merely a republishing of some wire service report, are collected together in a single thread. Shouting into the night because you think that you score extra points with redundant and repetitive posts by people who are too lazy to check to see if the bee under their bonnet is already being discussed is one of the many reasons why JR struggles to meet his fundraising goals every quarter.
But, what do I know? Brilliant guys like you are sure to set me straight.

This is not Twitter, FreeRepublic has never worked very well with everyone shouting the same thing from the rooftops. We change the course of events through strong and long threads that discuss, share, and reinforce conservative thought. All it takes is a second to do a search and check recent threads.
