WITCH DOCTOR (David Seville) 1958 original version, Yep, remember it well. Another Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep. by Katie Kissoon, she occasionally does studio work with Eric Clapton. The summer of 1971 it was a huge hit, it seemed WABC played it constantly. It's a silly song but catchy ;)
