You cannot expect "governance" from Muslims, at least not the kind understood and practiced in the west. As for hopelessness, there are tens of millions of young, hopeless non-Muslims in the world and they are not running around crucifying, beheading, and burning Christians and Jews. Maybe a rocket scientist like Barnicle would set his hair on fire over a perceived complexity. That perceived complexity comes from one and only one place - a lack of moral clarity and a belief in a true God.
Literally, it is that simple. A belief in right and wrong and a religion that drives the belief. It works both ways; the Muslim belief in a false God and wrong; and the Christian belief in true God and right. It makes me wonder why Christian clergy is not more outspoken. I suppose too many of them are too worried about queers and other abominations. Too much of Christendom has been led astray.
He won’t have to set his hair on fire. ISIS will be happy to do it for him.
