What a bunch of crap!

I guess you had to know “American Sniper” would get snubbed.

FTS!

...and so did Selma. I was pulling for both America Sniper as well as Selma, both were historically accurate depictions of American heroes.

Did you seriously think AS was going to win? It was not on anyone’s list of films that had a chance. And the people picking the presenters have no idea what will win.

At least Selma didn’t win.

She was Maude Lebowski in “The Big Lebowski” and Clarice Starling in “Hannibal.”

I was hoping the Wes Anderson would pull t off. It won so many of those early awards I thought it had a shot. These days it seems that films that win editing, cinematography awards awards never win BP.

Of course!

Obviously the Libtrad screeners didn’t watch it in the theaters.

"The only movie I remember her in is being a porn star"

You got it, what I tell my wife every time she gushes about her:"Her best role was as a porno actress"

Appropriate as Jane Fonda being best remembered for her roles as a whore.....

AMERICAN SNIPER GOT SCREWED

No one seriously expected Sniper to win (though I would've loved to have seen the look on Sean Penn's face if it had).

I'm just glad Selma didn't pull an upset that would've obviously looked like false praise from a chagrined Academy.

Why didn't you like it? Chris Kyle, of course, was a hero. Without question. But also, in his own way, Judge Frank Johnson (depicted in Selma) bravely stood for what's best about America.

American Sniper grossed 304 million. Birdman grossed 36 million. AS won the popular vote.

No offence, but neither was rememberable and “Hannibal” was a prequel/sequel. And I don’t remember her in either.

The highest grossing film of 2014 was ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’. That had no chance either.
