One of my pet projects (if I get off muh duff) is build a nice sauna in the back yard.. jacuzzis are nice but... nothing like the rush of going from 200 degrees to chillcity
a hot bath is a daily thing for some people
The statement about lowering blood pressure is perfectly true in the long run. However, 20 minutes in a hot sauna followed by a roll in the snow will spike your BP like a rocket launch. And it felt good, too.
Nice hot bath with about 2 cupful’s of Epson salts.
Yeah, no bias there!
here ya go. no idea if it is quality or not:

I suspect that it’s like a short fever that may kill off some bugs.
...inconclusive. More research needed.
Bought a two-person infrared sauna from Costco back in December during an online sale. It’s made of Canadian hemlock. Under $1,050.00 delivered. (Costco, yeah - love / hate)
I cannot say enough about how much I love it.. I cannot.
It will make your skin feel awesome..
A squeeze of juice from a 1/4 fresh lemon over your body every 10 or so minutes is wonderful. A hot shower (no soap) afterwards is the ticket..
110 VAC is all that’s required though a dedicated outlet which I have) is suggested.
The smell of the wood is heavenly.
Bump.....
175 is kinda cool for a sauna. I like it about 190 but my grandpa kept it over 200. But he was from Finland.
