Emulsifiers are used to blend ingredients together that normally do not blend. Such as what eggs do when you blend them with vinegar and oil. And you get mayonnaise.

Of course there are much worse emulsifiers.

Interesting links. It does have something to do with “hocus pocus,” maybe. And “bunkum” or “buncombe.”

Hmm. Remember when Marge Simpson was starting a garden? The brand name on all the supplies—seeds, fertilizer, etc.—was “Dirty Hoe.”

At first i thot they were going after lecithin which is made from eggs now that they say they are good for us.

Egg yolks have lecithin, enough to nullify all the cholesterol that are in the same yolk, plus more. However, it is not the main source of lecithin, which is derved from soy beans. Soy lecithin is available as dissolved in soy oil, or as a granular material when the oil is removed. You will find that lecithin is a great food substance, naturally occurring, and supplied also as a refined concentrated additive.

Brussels sprouts

Try them this way: blanched if necessary then sauted with bacon.

asparagus

Try this: needs to be of good quality (thin, tender, not wilted), blanched if necessary, sauted and served with hollandaise sauce.

One day Montsanto will not be able to pay off every research scientist that is peer reviewing papers, and soy will be outed. Most of the commercial lecithin produced... is from soy.

Eat what you want, when you want, and how much you want every day. Tomorrow you may not be here.

Give it a couple years and emmulsifiers will be declared safe and rebranded as the greatest thing since Palm Oil’s miraculous come back. Then, slap on, “sustainably harvested from fair trade organic sources and naturally gluten free” and the sheep will fall for it.

So eating that diet of 14 year old Twinkies could be dangerous?

Soy is especially bad for men, as the male body regards it as a form of estrogen. Great for women. Not great for guys.

Yes. And lectins—that cause leaky gut, which causes chronic inflammation, which causes arthritis, diabetes, Parkinson’s, heart disease, etc. All grains, legumes (including peanuts), cashews, and white potatoes cause leaky gut.
