For later
I thought thats what Trans-Fats were supposed to be doing. Isn’t that what Bloomberg made into his life’s mission?
this looks like hocum. they only chose two specific emulsifiers which i don’t see in any of the stuff that i buy. At first i thot they were going after lecithin which is made from eggs now that they say they are good for us.
But don’t worry. Eating Polysorbate 80 might destroy your immune system and ruin your gut, but if you INJECT IT (as in vaccines) it’s perfectly harmless and if you refuse to, your kids should not go to schools.

“Research” has told me over a handful of decades that coffee was bad for me, then good, then bad, then kinda good again? Wine was good, then bad, then...BEER, beer was terrible then good; at certain times and only one, okay two, but only on a weekday ending in Y. And Eggs, whoa, they have been all over the place. Salt, cooking oil; now, some evil marijauna and damn if I’m not a sinner for liking milk but those cows are methane machines and I can’t get whole milk...no sir....
These studies are crap. Bacon will be good for us again; right after it is done being bad in the press, again.

Emulsifiers are used to blend ingredients together that normally do not blend. Such as what eggs do when you blend them with vinegar and oil. And you get mayonnaise.
Of course there are much worse emulsifiers.
polysorbate 80 and carboxymethylcellulsose
Give it a couple years and emmulsifiers will be declared safe and rebranded as the greatest thing since Palm Oil’s miraculous come back. Then, slap on, “sustainably harvested from fair trade organic sources and naturally gluten free” and the sheep will fall for it.
So eating that diet of 14 year old Twinkies could be dangerous?
Clearly, the only truly safe diet these days is quite simply to eat nothing at all.
