Tango? They forgo the Whiskey and the Foxtrot part.

If you want something that small, just get a Monotracer.

I had a Phazer. Late eighties model. Eventually, the track motor mounts , seat, etc all needed to be replaced. The 500cc engine still started on the first pull. I sold it for $200 just for the engine.

I had A Yamaha dirt bike too. Always ran great. I had a two Kawasaki s after that. They were a little more temperamental.
I have a Honda generator and a small Honda snow blower. They always start first pull. The Japanese small engines are the best.

Sorry, I didn’t quote the post I replied to, which referred to BMW and its aviation history. Hence the propeller badge...

They should call it the “Deathbubble 2100”.

Nah. Nothing will ever remove the H2 Mach IV 750 from the #10 pucker throne.

Ya know I thought about that earlier, so Here is my personal review. I had an H2 in 1980-81. The H2 was real, real fast, especially off the line and up to about 100, but handled like crap, real unstable, especially at high speed. didn’t stop worth a crap either.

And unfortunately the RZ500 would smoke it after about 80-90 MPH, right about the time I tap 3rd gear it will leave the H2 750 sucking my exhaust, mainly because 1st gear is a little tall on the RZ and the RZ is slow off the start with a lot of clutch slippage just to take off. It doesn’t have much for low end, so you have to get above 6500 before any noticeable power comes on.

Now the R6 will do pretty good to about 90-100MPH, then hold your breath because you will be sucking two-stroke exhaust as I tap 4th gear, about the time you hit 100.

When you hit about 60 on the RZ, first Gear wide open 10,000rpm it goes through the gears faster than you would believe, all the way to 150 with only about 15-20mph difference and less than 2 seconds between gears. There is about a 2000 rpm drop between gear changes, it is on the pipe at 7000, with no stopping it. Shift between 9000-1000, come into a corner at 100 hit the gas in 4th and hold on, The rear tire will spin if not careful at 100, it wants to go faster, a lot faster. The RZ500 really shines above 100 MPH. The H2 above 100 was downright dangerous. So is my 75 Z1B900.

The RZ will wind up through every gear all the way to the end of 6th the same as lower gears, most bikes have trouble winding up in high gear like the lower gears.

I will say this, my H2 would wheelie in just about every gear by turning the throttle, it had just plain raw, brute horsepower. the RZ is setup different and is a little tough to wheelie because of the rake, length and lower cg. The back wheel will spin though if on it, And if you do get it up, you need to get real high to keep it there, which could get dangerous real fast. Hell 2nd gear goes 80, flip it and your bumming, big time.

Sounds like you have a lot more track time I do. I did a little flat track (Suzuki thumper) but my only pavement time was on an EBC endurance bike that I crewed for. It was a Yamaha 1000 punched out to 1240. Being it was meant for endurance it was not radically tuned. VERY broad torque band. We ran it on the AMI dyno at Daytona and it showed about 165 HP at the wheel. I used to test ride it and once snuck it out on the track. I had as much business riding it above 75% as flying a P 51 Mustang but I did have some fun. Quite a transition from my R100RT!
Never owned one of the Kaw triples but I did have a Water Buffalo. Wish I had it back. I do have one 70’s relic- a near mint ‘72 CB 750 that I ride often. I call it my delayed high school graduation present.
