An interview with John Parow St. Lucie County Sheriffs Department
D Breteau) Why did you become a Law Enforcement Officer?
John Parow) It sounds like a cliché answer but I actually got into law enforcement because I truly like helping people. In this field, many people dont like us overall but if I can help one person then that is what I am looking for.
DB) Worst day as a cop?
JP) February 28th 2013. On this day a fellow sergeant and friend was murdered while doing his job. During a traffic stop, the suspect exited his vehicle and executed him. There are no words for the feeling I had that day.
The rest of snapshot of an LEO story here.
Nice story...
Everything but the bloodhounds nipping at his heels.
Forgive me but anymore I want to ask every cop if they’d arrest or cite a fellow cop for committing a crime?
If the answer isn’t ‘yes’ then I don’t want them to be a cop.
The sarge pulled his corvette to the shoulder and asked, do you know I am? "Uh, yeah, and you're drunk and flying low."
My neighbor is still with the force 20 yrs later and part of the leadership.
