I am wired, can’t sit still or stop hopping around from task to task. Yikes.

with almost NO chance of any difficulty on roads. Except for the 7 lanes of freeway with bumper-to-bumper cars.

I have no problem saying no when I don’t intend to do something. My daughter is paying the consequences of saying no to a family member for something but I’m standing by her - she has valid reasons and isn’t refusing out of spite or anger, just common sense. Those unhappy with her decision don’t like that it doesn’t fit their plans. They will survive and so will WFTD - ;^)

Well of course, but I am fortunate to almost never have to get into that traffic.

I'm sure you are! You are excited and sort of experiencing the “Christmas Eve time is standing still” phenomenon.

Probably, but since it has been in the 60’s yesterday and today, it isn’t likely to accumulate much, even if it is in the 20’s at night-but the ice warning signs have been put on the bridges and hills, just in case.

I remember all too well the bumper to bumper on the freeways to and from work in SA, every time it even rained-never, ever again-even if a job in the city meant more money, it would be offset by the gas, traffic and time of the 80+ mile daily round trip just like it was before...

I have to go with a larger suitcase, as the bridal shower gift does not fit....or her favorite wine...or my toiletries... (sigh)

Keep your eye on your luggage-you want it to be in the same place, at the same time that you are...

I am in a state of repletion regarding winter weather. Freezing rain tonight, followed by snow. Told by employer to use our judgment for safe travel. I am guessing I will miss my first day during my first week of work. :(

It would be nice to be able to put a tracking device on checked luggage-I wonder if anyone has a modified clip-on thingee that could be used like that and tracked with your cell phone?
