God, I think I peed after that first drop.
Gonna need a diaper for that one. BTT
I go to Carowinds all the time, and this new one has a hell of a start that just diminishes into a bunch of humps. I’ll ride it, but is it too much to ask for a loop?
The last roller coaster I rode was YEARS ago, in San Antonio, called The Steel Eel. I renamed it The Still Ill....because for days afterwards, I was Still Ill 😝
I also hate how they trick you, on these things, like you're going to stop and be able to exit after that first gut-wrenching round. You think it's going to stop....but no...it just slows down and then takes off super fast and keeps going.
WoW
Pretty much my take on it as well.
Nope...
Hmph. No loops? I’m sure my eight year old would consider this a “kiddy ride,” like California Screamin’ at Disneyland/California Adventure. LOL
Kind of like LIFE itself, a real roller coaster. I don’t need to spend extra money for what happens on a daily basis.... with speed bumps, potholes and brickwalls.
I hope I get a chance to ride it someday!
Looks fun, but it is neither the tallest or the fastest.
Tallest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTNcnJS-a2M (Kingda Ka, will be surpassed in a few years by a ride in Orlando)
Fastest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khRTNdEgZqg (Formula Rossa)
It is however the tallest and tied for the fastest non-launched roller coaster.
So far, my favorite roller coast (it's been quite awhile) is the Batman one at Magic Mountain. Only got to ride it once, and NOT in the front .. the front is my favorite.
ping
Now...I'm not a big fan of steel coasters but this thing looks like the next best thing to having your @$$ strapped in to an F-16.
