Quit blaming Obama for everything. I blame them all for us being in the situation we’re in. Obama may be writing the checks but the Republicans in Congress are giving him the funds.
I despise them all.

Obamacare subsidy surprises are hugh!
TRUE STORY:
Accountants are being abused verbally (and threatened with physical attack) after revealing the “taxes” and repayments due because of Obamacare.

One case reported by accountant was man who dutifully signed up on healthcare.gov in Nov. of 2013, got his subsidy amount, changed jobs in Feb. 2014, wnet to tax preparer in Feb. 2015, found out that his slight pay increase from changing jobs voided his subsidy, and he now owes $9,000 back to the government!

Needless to say he was STUNED!

I’ve come to despise it all the time.

You can’t say it is the best place on earth anymore.

Close for the company ruins Christmas for me, making sure the corp taxes and payroll reports gets out ruins January and February, insurance renewals ruin March, April is killed by personal taxes and that goes on since amendments are usually required because others don’t get their finals done either.

The government pretty much ruins my whole first quarter and into the first half of the year.

After that you get to do quarterlies and then state franchise tax in May. In Texas it is a gross receipts tax... that means on every dollar that comes in the door. Can’t have an “income” tax in Texas you know. That would be unconstitutional. This is the Lone Star state after all and government is so minimal... yeah, right.

It is depressing all right. Every time I turn around there is a hand in my pocket.

Not a problem for me, you have to have an income to be income taxed. A problem by the way I wish to have!

the people are the country....

they voted in the white African and their values are in the toilet...

bammy

kardashians..

gimmedats...

freeloaders and double dippers and cheats and liars and malingers.

I don't love this country as much as I used to since it stands for nothing anymore

.not the sanctity of our constitution or contract law or the rule of law...

not the respect owed to our fighting men

nor the respect owed the hard working folk that make this country tick...

nope....no more love affair for me....

sadly, there really is no other place I would feel at home....

but I was at Las Vegas speedway today and I was among lots of "my" people so there's that...

isn't it funny that laws once were made to encourage wise and healthy decisions such as marriage and family but NOW the only encouragement the govt gives is to freaks of nature that can not reproduce unless they "fudge" the process...now heteros WHO SHOULD BE PRODUCING LOTS OF CHILDREN just are not even bothering to marry....

I know its deeper than that but it still means something.

“As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”

Just retired and had to have an extra amount withheld to try to keep from having a big bill next year - no taxes withheld from pour retirements or SS payments so my normal withholding no longer in effect. I use my military retirement account to try to balance out my taxes so I have a manageable bill (owe some, but not enough to pay a penalty) each year.

How about toning down your blather?

I wouldn’t normally mess with you but your reply has no place here.

As cableguymn wrote, you don't despise this country.

You despise The Managerial State:

You appear to be advocating that the Lone Star State, which is justly famous for not having an income tax, adopt one.
