I also looked at some Aston Martins...V8 Vantage and V12 Vanquish...those I liked except the price and warranty. This dealership also had Jaguars including the F Type-R model and also Lamborghinis, but my wife would not let me look at them.
I went here:
On 2nd thought I’ll take any one of those Lamborghinis, What beautiful cars and at $380K to $450K they should be. It’s enough to make me forget the honey on the leash above but I’m gonna haveta get into the marihouchie business come July 1st when it becomes legal in Oregon.

I watched the 12-hour of Sebring race yesterday. The cars are not as interesting as when I was going in person. I used to get there early and park right at the fence in the Porsche Paddock right at the exit of the last turn. One year, near the end of the race a Porsche 962 got squeezed into the wall and flipped over, landing upside down just feet in front of my car. I was sitting inside listening to the race on the radio and getting out of the cold when my car got covered with dirt from the crash.
Interesting. I’m reading an old book that has a lot of info on the big LeMans crash that killed all the spectators in 1955. It was really bad.
Sounds like yours was up close but not personal.
That 1955 crash at Le Mans was terrible. A Mercedes went into the stands on the front stretch. There was no one hurt in this crash at Sebring, just expensive race car damage. I think it was Bob Wollek driving. Sebring was interesting. With a Paddock pass ticket you could just walk up to drivers and talk to them. I talked to Hurley Haywood, Al Holbert, Dereck Bell and many others.
Sports car guys (I used to be one of them LOL) were always different and generally quite gentlemanly.
This book mentioned that the SCCA wouldn’t admit Jewish guys until the mid-50s while a Jewish guy (Mauri Rose, a GM engineer) had already won the Indy 500 3 times by then.
Gees, small world. Had a girl friend back in the day that used to do timing and scoring for Haywood.
They’ve cut seats from 92k to 68k and come fairly close to filling them up. Plus a mob in the infield. Glad to see it.
Boogity, boogity, boogity! Harvick leading lap 6.
What the heck kind of green flag were they waving to restart just now? It looked like it had white letters on it, like a Hezbolla flag?
