RE: Well terrorism is an attack on our way of life. It’s a worthy thing to react to.

I never said it wasn’t. I was referring to PERCENTAGE of death compared to the population.

Deaths by killing whether it is by terrorists or suicide are worthy things to react to.

Accidents are tragic to, but the difference between this and the other two is that accidents are NOT deliberate acts of killing while terrorism and suicides are.

Well, let’s talk about it then, I think it is an interesting thing to notice that Physicians are more prone to kill themselves relative to most other profession.

If it is because of stress, then let’s compare the rate of doctor suicides to say, Nurses or Police detectives. That would be interesting too.

I see it as totally expected. People in a high stress profession with ready access to self medication SHOULD be killing themselves more often. If they were killing themselves significantly LESS often than the general population THAT would be interesting.
