Initially a friend gave it to me as a gift. It’s very good for holding the color and I use about three pumps- never noticed any scalp issues- lots of different types of formulations for different issues. Spring Orange blossom is very nice.

I have below-shoulder length hair, very thick and very curly. If I used shampoo every day I would be unfit to be seen in public, as curly hair is dry and shampoo strips the little oil it has.

Co-washing (washing with conditioner) was a thing long before Chaz Dean came along. Wen is extremely overpriced; you can use any conditioner that works for you. I’ve tried them all, and the absolute best for me is cheap Suave coconut conditioner; I mix a little coconut oil in with it.

I run it through my hair and scrub my scalp, rinse out, and then use more as a leave-in after toweling dry. My hair smells and feels great, scalp is clean and even squeaks. I use shampoo every fifth day, followed by the conditioner. My hair has never looked better.
