Staying at a friend’s house?
A knock at the door — and the friend doesn’t go to the door, but the guest does?
No one there?
So he went outside?
Peculiar story.
You ask good questions.
Were we to have reporters with above average IQ, they would have done so also.
Something smells “Obama-my”here.
"..don't ever open your door again"
That is why I have gun in hand when I answer the door at night.
“group of males”, eh? Must have been to old to be called “teens”
What does Marie Harf have to do with this thread?
If I'm not expecting a knock at the door, for instance, by a pizza delivery I know I ordered, I answer the door armed. Even then, there's always some armament within arm's reach.
And for the love of God, don't answer your door after dark, even if it's the police. Nothing good happens after dark.
Like my phone....I rarely answer a knock at our door...unless I am expecting someone.
This isn’t the knockout game because they didn’t play by the established rulebook in an officially recognized league team.
I never, ever, ever, answer the door unarmed.
I usually don’t answer the door at night unless I know who knocked or rang the bell. I ALWAYS check to see who is there. And, yes, I do not answer the door at night unless I am armed. People I know are cool with that. Those that wouldn’t be...well, the door remains closed.
I don't open the door but I go and let them see me. On the news the other night I heard that the time that most houses are being robbed is between 8am and 2pm.
Don't those robbers have jobs? Oh yeah.... That is their job!
Oh, I let them know I am home.
Variation on the Knockout Game?
Crashing on the couch, you’re more likely to hear the door.
I suspect his “friend” knew who they were. Because they went there to ambush the “friend”, not his guest.
The police are pretty good about figuring out these things.
Both my font and back doors have storm/screen conbination doors on the outside. The house was previously owned by a fairly wealthy business owner and he hed them installed.
when I open the inside door, even with the screen door exposed...you can't get through....an extremely strong, lockable security door on the outside (I do have a gun nearby however, but the doors must have cost a pretty penny when installed!!!!....Thanks previous owner!!!
