Sciatica. That’s what I thought. Maybe get a painkiller injection. I had it at age 25, just waited it out. Very sharp pain up my leg and hip for a few weeks.

I had sciatica years ago. A doctor examined me and said it was because my back muscles were stronger than my stomach muscles and I was pinching a nerve. He told me to do a few situps a day which I did, the pain was gone and I have not had it for thirty five years.

"sciatica" Thought the same thing... I slept in a half-reclined la-z boy for 6 months...it works and you get to pick bedtime shows for a change 😄 Does the pain sometimes shoot down your leg and seem to possibly wrap around the shin? Sometimes mine would only be the hip and shin, others...oh hell it's a mess. Still feel it most days but the discomfort has rarely gotten so bad. No idea why.

I tend to agree. Chiropractor if really bad.

Aleve also helps reduce inflammation of the nerve.
