I'd challenge them to prove the effectiveness of this policy against a real shooter with deadly intent.

And, if the one with the gun(s) is a bad guy(s), there will be much carnage while the one who tells them to get out tries to call the cops. The only person to be apprehended without killing someone is going to be one of the law-abiding citizens who would rather protect the kids than kill them.

Some of the Left sounds almost like those on our side who will call for "anyone but Romney" or "anyone but "Walker" and never seem to say "anyone but Obama" or "anyone but Hillary". The "rationalizations" are just as twisted, no matter the topic.

Ann Arbor is easily one of the most “liberal” cities in the country. They’re Eloi.

After a restaurant owner was severely beaten after closing his restaurant last summer the city council actually debated forcing restaurants and stores to close at sundown so the owners could get home before dark and cower in their homes.

To add to the confusion, anyone visiting Michigan with a legal ccw permit from their state which is recognized by Michigan cannot have a gun within 1000 feet of any school according to federali law.

"I told everyone I thought they should be aware that while they were at the concert watching their kids that there was someone with a firearm and ammunition and maybe we want to think about that," DiBlassio said.

"I walked past them into the concert and saw the director point out the individual. Police escorted him to the lobby and talked to him there. As he walked past me I saw the gun and ammunition."

Huh? did the guy have a couple extra rounds duck-taped to his chest? How did they see the ammunition?

Technically (though not legally) a firearm without ammunition is just a club.

In this case, the “disturbance” was caused by one panicked teacher.
