You know what else is funny? The Goldbergs. Love the 80s nostalgia. I’m watching the entire ABC lineup on Wednesday now.

Except on hockey nights, of course.

Mine got too long to style and get it right. A slight trim and I can blow it dry with my fingers. Comb it with my fingers during day. Hairdresser taught me to practice in front of mirror to be able to finger comb in place. Need some product and spray though.

There are big storms about 20 miles to the west, moving this way slowly-I can hear the distant thunder-here it is 71, dark as twilight, still and just the occasional sprinkle...

All the earth day folderol
Is about the wrong stuff-
If the cities don’t produce
Nothing will ever be enough

To prevent panic and howling
If there’s no food to be had-
No matter what energy is saved
With the grid down, all is bad

Instead of being chicken little
How about teaching folks to cope?
Not growing veggies on the deck
Is giving them all enough rope...

The real rain just started-and it looks as though the main storm with the hail may pass to the North-I hope...

I don’t have that pretty fluffy texture-my hair is coarse, so I keep the top front the length of bangs-about 3 inches-that way it dries nice and faster than the long part, which I can just put up. If I blow my hair dry it just looks frizzy and unattractive.

That is the best thing I’ve read today-I think every governor should follow Walker’s example and lay off at least that many of the clueless public employees. It is even more appropriate that he did it on Lenin’s B’day....

It doesn’t appear there will be many survivors for sure!

Love Wednesday nights - I’ve always been a fan of The Middle - but Goldbergs and Blackish are incredibly funny. Also love Modern family

A+++ Excellent. Earth Day is a joke. If those fools really believed what they preached then Obama, alGore, Nye and the rest would give up their jets. But NOOOOoooooooOOOO, they don’t believe that much now do they?

Yeah, I didn’t finish it. Just thought it was interesting. Almost like an X Files episode.

Those are some strange people-no different than the ones in the recent past who went to restaurants, stores, work etc insisting that everyone wearing cologne, eating peanuts, whatever stop it right now and cater to their allergies, because it is all about them-nothing but controlling, attention getting behavior. Get a spine and a life, whiners and leave the rest of humanity alone.

That said, if any of them went into an establishment around here making demands and getting the vapors, someone would either call for tar and feathers or git a rope-times are hard now-but not hard enough to put up with that crap...

Apparently, Diane has found it in her heart not only to help other poor sufferers visiting the place, but to get a grant and make a tidy profit from that shared misery-sounds like a fleecing to me...

Thank you! Their dire warnings and draconian measures are only supposed to be for us common serfs-I guess they don’t realize they will be the first ones to feel the burn if it all goes boom-no jet, no electricity for the $200k plug in car, no ordering out for lobster and caviar, no daily food delivery to their kitchens-most of us know how to do without stuff-and I doubt many will be willing to help the pampered elites survive.

I picked up my dress for the Rehearsal dinner. Got shoe and some accessories. Then I found my bargain black dress. $14.00. I have no idea where I will wear it, but I had to have it. It looked great on me and both dresses are another size smaller. My dress for the wedding is up one size, I hope all works out.

When I read the whole article, I noticed that everyone affected by that aberration appears to be financially able to run around two or more countries looking for a quiet zone and still have money left over to buy a place and even start a business-I guess this is a disorder of the affluent?

It sounds like you really lost a lot of weight-a size is no small thing-no pun intended...

It will be fine-don’t fret-you will look fabulous and everything will go smoothly.

And that is a hell of a deal on a black dress-where did you get it?

It’s guilt about living in a modern society. That’s my diagnosis.

Dress Barn. It’s been my go-to store since this diet began. Absolutely love that store.
