It is a beautiful day. You are wearing an Apple Watch.

It's a beautiful day. You just got your Apple Watch™ in the mail! You take it to your living room and unbox it. Wow. It's incredible.

You go through the setup process, and link it to your iPhone. You set the charging dock on your nightstand, and set an alarm. You go to sleep, and dream of floating through white clouds in a blue sky as Jony Ive narrates. Your alarm wakes you at 9:30 on Saturday — the alarm on your Apple Watch. You pick the Apple Watch up from its charging dock, and put it on your wrist. Gee, that looks fancy.

I see the evil that about 80% of the unsaved in our world are perpetrating, but I know it’s a fallen world, and that all need Jesus, the Messiah of Israel, because ALL are condemned to death by God. He considers everything that we do, on our own, apart from Jesus, as EVIL.

So, yes, there is evil being done by everyone who is not of Christ, and for the few who are saved, they are forgiven for the evil they have perpetrated.

We look forward to the day when Jesus, the Messiah of Israel, comes and sets up a completely different government, than what we have now, in our U.S. Constitution, and when he rules over all the nations in the world in complete righteousness.

What we say, as Christians, is “Come quickly!” We look forward to that!

For years, I used to carry a pedometer because I like to ensure I walk at least 10,000 steps each day (by the way, walking 5 miles a day keeps me in perfect health). But those things were always crapping out and never all that accurate to begin with. For instance, they would count steps even if you were riding in a car because bumps would register as steps.

Then I got the "Pacer" app for my iPhone and it was way more accurate. And there was no pendulum mechanism to wear out because the iPhone app used the gyroscope in the iPhone and it's harder to register "fake" steps.

I'm thinking the pedometer app in the Apple Watch is going to be even more accurate. Plus it will be able to keep track of your pulse, temperature and other things like that.

This is the kind of stuff that makes your life better. And everyone is concerned about that and their health. That’s why Apple is getting into “health” in a big way!

Any unicorns hidden inside of it? :)

There’s the same problem in just about all the companies in the Hi-Tech industry.

That's a complete lie!

Microsoft supports their OSes and applications for many years, like Windows XP was supported for more than 13 years, and Windows 7 will have been supported for more than 10, and Vista dn Win 8/8.1 will also be supported through at least 2020. Office is an application which gets support for many years too, and when a new version appears, the old version continues working fine for many more, and bugs and fixes are applied for many years.

With Apple, support for devices and OSes can occur in less than 5 years, and even the original iPad lost support after about 3 years.

Nope! When it comes to Apple, short support periods is one of the methods they use to force people into new upgrades for hardware and/or software.

As soon as I say a discussion with Apple in it, I knew that you would be on it immediately. iZombie is very applicable with your.

Apple didn’t announce it ... someone tore one to pieces and found it. You won’t be hearing about it from Apple until it is activated ... :-) ...

Ummm ... you need to go back and read what I was replying to ... LOL ...

I have no idea what you’re talking about here ... :-) ...

And as far as you finding me here ... yes ... That does make perfect sense since I have Apple products and appreciate the excellence of Apple products. The fact of me being here on an Apple thread is a “no brainier”.

What makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE AT ALL is why you’re here!

What we say, as Christians, is “Come quickly!” We look forward to that!

You aren't doing anything to promote that, and neither is Tim Cook.

I just did. You support Timmy Cook's company and the evil they promote.

... and you obviously haven’t read my Freeper page.

Your Freeper page doesn't mean squat.

The company doesn’t belong to Cook, but to investors, like many Freepers here. And I’m more than happy to buy products from Apple, since they make the best products around, just like 700 other Freepers are glad to have Apple products, too!

That’s exactly what business is about, in our capitalistic free market system ... the best in the world! Isn’t America wonderful! ... :-) ...

And there's the trouble right there. Financially support those who are evil.

I already know that everyone around me is evil. That’s exactly what the Bible makes clear. All are sinners, whose hearts are evil to the core and are deserving of death. And that “all” in the Bible ncludes you, too ... :-) ...

You should be glad that people don’t stop dealing with evil people or you would have been flat broke a long time ago ... LOL ...

Jeremiah 17:9
“The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?

Romans 3:23
... for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

— — —

Are we still desperately wicked in our hearts after we become Christians?

Yes, we are still wicked in our hearts even after we become Christians.

Biblically speaking, the unbeliever is completely and totally affected by sin in every area of his being: heart, soul, mind, body, emotions, etc. In this sense he is desperately wicked (though not all unbelievers are as bad as they can be in the manifestation of that wickedness). This is why the Bible says that man is deceitful (Jer. 17:9), full of evil (Mark 7:21-23), loves darkness rather than light (John 3:19), does not seek for God (Rom. 3:10-12), is ungodly (Rom. 5:6), dead in his sins (Eph. 2:1), by nature a child of wrath (Eph. 2:3), cannot understand spiritual things (1 Cor. 2:14), and is a slave of sin (Rom. 6:16-20).

However, when we become regenerate, we are new creatures in Christ (2 Cor. 5:17). Yet, we’re also still desperately wicked. We won’t be delivered from this until we receive our new bodies in the future resurrection (1 Cor. 15:35-45). For now, we still live in fallen flesh and struggle with the sin nature that affects all of who we are. It is in the battle between our old sinful selves and our new redeemed selves that our victories overcoming sin and failures in sin manifest. So, even as Christians, we are still touched by sin in all areas of who we are; hence, we are desperately wicked—in that we are still completely touched by sin. The difference is that we also now struggle against our wickedness because we have been changed by God. We have been made new creatures; and because of that work of God, we can now recognize our sin and seek to turn from it where the unbeliever will not.

I think the words of Paul the apostle are appropriate here:

“For the good that I wish, I do not do; but I practice the very evil that I do not wish. 20 But if I am doing the very thing I do not wish, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me. 21 I find then the principle that evil is present in me, the one who wishes to do good. 22 For I joyfully concur with the law of God in the inner man, 23 but I see a different law in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind, and making me a prisoner of the law of sin which is in my members. 24 Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death? 25 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh the law of sin,” (Romans 7:19-25).
