That's one of the main reasons that I'm still a CentOS/RedHat fan. I maintain about 60 Ubuntu servers at my job, but thankfully I only work with them at the Bash shell commandline level, and don't see any Unity desktop stuff. I installed the Unity desktop once at home just to try it, and ran screaming. I suppose some folks like it, they can have my share too.

I am still running 10.0 but I’ll probably have to upgrade sometime in the future. Although I am holding out.

Sounds like you are a programmer/IT person vs a user. I am mostly a user but I have played around with the server and Apache a little.

Bottom line: new isn’t always improved.

PC Linux looks good. My Linux friend uses it. He uses zero crap from Apple. He prefers Linux but will install Windows and was very excited about Windoz 10
