You don't draft a QB in the first few picks of the first round and pay him all that money to hold a clipboard. Players picked that high are expected to contribute right from the start.
I generally agree. I think he’s got the athleticism, the smarts and the work ethic to succeed. I don’t know how good he’ll be - no one does. I don’t know if he’s close to a lock at success or long-term starting because his style generally leads to an RGIII type soar and then crash.
