I am sure a large percentage of EBT disbursements are fraudulently acquired, even now. We won’t find out about it until they actually find a means of stopping some of it, that is if they actually care. there are probably government social workers whose job is to teach wetbacks how to get EBT illegally and several cards under different names.
I see EBT use every time I go to Walmart. Never once was an ID asked for, or the card ever inspected by the cashier.
