Spring is here and we will be picking our first Strawberries in the next couple of days. These plants were new last year. We have been doing weed patrol this week plus more spading and greenhouse duties ~

Hubby’s strawberries were neglected last year after harvest. We are not expecting much from what is left. He’s got to work on it and maybe get some runners later on to fill in the bare spots.

These are beautiful - I’ll have to show him your set up. Is that chicken wire around rebar? He’s been using netting, but the squirrels are barely deterred, and they seem to have wised up with respect to the live traps.
