I could fit the Chevy with electronic fuel injection and an overdrive transmission, improving the ease of starting and fuel economy (though I never owned a Chevy V8 of that period that was hard to start).
Though I really prefer the Olds 442 or Buick GS siblings, the Chevelle has soul. The minivan is an appliance.
In some cases an affliction.

My brother had a beautiful 67 or 68 Olds 442. It was turquoise with white interior. Had a clear t-handle on the Hurst shifter.
