I own and drove a 68 Chevelle until it was a rusted piece of junk.

It was ok I find my dodge Mini vans to be a better vehicle.

They last longer get better millage, start easier.

It is nice to like older things but being old doesn’t make things better.

It’s a myth that the latest is the greatest. Take the music industry, for example. There are more people with bad taste out there than ever!

Yeah, of course a Dodge minivan is going to be more fuel efficient than a '68 Chevelle. It would take me roughly 1.5 seconds to choose the latter over the former.

I could fit the Chevy with electronic fuel injection and an overdrive transmission, improving the ease of starting and fuel economy (though I never owned a Chevy V8 of that period that was hard to start).

Though I really prefer the Olds 442 or Buick GS siblings, the Chevelle has soul. The minivan is an appliance.
