Same here. I get truck parts up to 80% less than the local auto suppliers.
Shocks local-$64, online $23 plus a 5% discount, same shock.

I fix up cars when my IT/low voltage business is slow. I get 90% online but when I need something quick I use advanceauto.com and they always have coupons out there that save you about 40% off their retail price (putting them slightly higher than other online sites) couple that with fatwallet.com cash back of 5.5% and it’s not to bad.

Word on that - I go into a Big Box electronic store, I find a gizmo that should work for what I need, @ $94 (!!). Aw hell naw. I go online and find exact same gizmo - not a ChiCom knock-off, by the way - at $14.95. The shipping was free. Felt pretty insulted, which goes far in dampening my enthusiasm for darkening their door ever again.
