For instance: standard police handguns once were 38 caliber but now 65% departments like the Glock for many reasons.

Many of the bikers might carry Glocks but not necessarily.

Bullets coming from the dead bikers will tell the tale whether they are of the type carried by the local police or owned and registered to bikers.

Bullets from Glocks will differ from other weapons and if they are retrieved from the deceased, then they will be of one kind or another.

Having done some "fun" target practice with local police, we could tell which weapons fired various shots, not merely because they were better than we were but the distinctions were obvious even without ballistic tests.

Thanks. A few comments. . .

“For instance: standard police handguns once were 38 caliber but now 65% departments like the Glock for many reasons.”

And it is the preferred weapon for people, now, as well. No difference between the weapons police carry and citizens.

“Many of the bikers might carry Glocks but not necessarily.”

True, many types are out there.

“Bullets coming from the dead bikers will tell the tale whether they are of the type carried by the local police or owned and registered to bikers.”

Actually, like times past, it will be ballistic scarring, not the "type carried by the local police," as they shoot the same bullets--provided they carry a weapon of the same caliber.

Just an observation--"registered?" I trade weapons from time to time and no registration at all. In Texas no "registration" required. Besides, don't like the push to register weapons because the federal government will abuse that requirement, if it comes to pass, and that means confiscation.

“Bullets from Glocks will differ from other weapons and if they are retrieved from the deceased, then they will be of one kind or another.”

Bullets are bullets are bullets. Bulletmakers make bullets to fit a specific caliber, not a “Glock” or S&W or Beretta or whatever. Therefore, there is no such thing as a specific “Glock” or S&W or Berreta, etc bullet. The bullets carried by the police are the same as those carried by civilians--provided they carry a weapon of the same caliber.

“Having done some ‘fun’ target practice with local police, we could tell which weapons fired various shots, not merely because they were better than we were but the distinctions were obvious even without ballistic tests.”

Odd. I've never seen any difference other than accuracy/grouping and that was the result of shooter skill and how reliable the round was (quality control during manufacture).

The thugs started fight and it escalated and they started shooting and therefore, they should die. All of them. Bikers are yellow underwear-stained cowards, from the outside to their faggy heart and soul because they derive their ‘courage’, such as it is, from being part of a large predatory group.

Shot by the police? Easy enough to determine via ballistic testing. And I hope the police are credited with removing many of these vile criminals.

Cheers.
