News 96.5 - Orlando
AVOYELLES, LOUISIANA
This video gives a whole new meaning to 'tailgater.'
A man driving his truck tries to warn an alligator hanging out in some high grass that he's coming and the gator best get out of the way. But the alligator was not backing down and decided to defend his turf. As the truck inches closer, the annoyed gator can be seen on video lashing out before finally grabbing the front bumper in its mouth and tearing it off in a matter of seconds!

Chop off his tail and he’d make a pretty good watchdog.

Not saying I'd want him to grab hold of my leg but that's hardly the bumper. Just a loosely connected vinyl shell over the collapsible bumper. Kinda like everything that has a trigger is an assault weapon.

Floor it to make him pay for the bumper. He will be very reluctant to do that again.

You forgot 'Lizbeth!'

Not the bumper at all.
The plastic bumper cover. That doesn’t survive a 5 mph tap without damage.
