I just heard Walker on Neal Cavuto's program hint that he might consider a Walker/Rubio ticket.
What do Freepers think of this?
Cruz/Carson
or....other choices I will keep to myself.
If Rubio is his pick, I hope it is nothing more than a shoring up of support, such as when Regan picked the elder RINO GHW Bush as his running mate.
He specifically mentioned Rubio, not anyone else. Since that was the name he threw out there, I figure he wants to gage the reaction.
Trump? Please go back to the end of the line.
I agree.
phhhht!
Walker rides the wind at times.
Walker falls another notch for picking wrong.
Bye, bye, RINO.
If Walker impresses in the debates and wins, I am fine with Rubio. We need Florida. Period. Rubio helps tremendously. Rubio is a solid conservative on most issues and a charismatic guy. He sucks on immigration, but we lose if our party is a one-issue voters. I’ll take 95%.
Makes sense to me - after all Reagan picked Bush - it’s what you have to do sometimes. And Rubio would add significant heft to the foreign policy side.
I like it.
How about Walker/Fiorina?
Walker would be bad enough on his own. Not a chance in hell if he added another flip flopper to the ticket.
“I prefer Cruz or Walker as Prez, w Carly as VP and Rubio remaining a strong Senator.”
Except Rubio is giving up his Senate seat, to run for Potus.
If he fails to get the nomination, he could run for Florida Gov.
Well that does it, I won’t be voting for Scott Walker!!!!
The reaction from this voter is another third party vote.
I AM NOT VOTING FOR ANY AMNESTY CANDIDATES!
No Marco

Rare expression of political adulthood, in these here parts. Sounds like something right out of Reagan’s playbook.
One thing we do know about Walker is that his ability to pick good people is questionable. He will need help to come up with a good veep pick, and Rubio most certainly isn’t it. He is going to need to modify his approach to this particular form of problem solving, and I wish him well.
“How about Walker/Fiorina?”
I think there are better female options, than Fiorina.
Nixon, Agnew, Cheney did NOT run for the Potus nomination, when selected to run for VP (successfully).
How about Gov. Martinez, for example?
