Next week is the first week of June.

So we're two and a half weeks away. From something.

I am a former NewYawker...and I like Trump. He's tacky but real.

But his due by date has passed.

He’s running as a Democrat, right? Because he said he self-identifies as one.

Well I was just reading another article on Trump plans, whatever they may be...

Article (this one from Fox News):

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2015/05/28/donald-trump-for-president-why-billionaires-candidacy-is-no-joke.html

A good quote from that article:

Are there better politicians running for president than Donald Trump? Sure. Probably all of them are better at politics, lying, spinning and telling the people what they want to hear. But is there anyone running for president who would be a better CEO for the United States of America than Donald Trump?

I say, there is a chance the answer to that question is a resounding “no”.

Just a chance.

We shall see, in a couple of weeks.

If Trump climbs down this time, I will apologize to all of you for these posts.

But I don’t think he’s planning on climbing down this time.

That, and the fact that Sarah Palin is currently absent from the national discussion, makes Trump an interesting figure at the moment.

We shall see.

The problem with Trump is not necessarily a blowhard, but if you told someone to “go out there and conduct yourself like a pompous blowhard,” that person would behave exactly like Donald Trump. I just cannot take this guy seriously even though the humorless Donald takes himself deadly serious.

If he really wanted to have a major effect on the process, he would run in the dem primary.

From the Fox News article I sourced above:
http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2015/05/28/donald-trump-for-president-why-billionaires-candidacy-is-no-joke.html

“Does “The Donald” have a high opinion of himself, even to the point of sounding egotistical? You bet! As one of America’s most successful CEO’s he has earned that right.

Find me a high level CEO who isn’t egotistical. Warren Buffett? Bill Gates? Steve Wynn? Sir Richard Branson? Mark Cuban? They all have high opinions of themselves. Those egos have served them well. That’s how you become a billionaire and join the most exclusive club of business moguls on a planet with over 6 billion people (most of them mired in poverty).”

I completely agree.

We have a couple more weeks, to wait. But this could become very interesting.

Trump is a good character to have on the circuit but not a serious candidate. Some if his answers, especially on the topic of religion, are almost laughable. He takes himself very seriously, but it doesn’t go much further than that.

Yes. But in reality, all he wants to do is amuse himself by putting one over on the folks who buy into his line of BS.

Trump stokes 2016 talk; schedules 'major announcement' (June 16th)

The 2016 GOP primary is becoming a flea bitten circus. All this BS and hype just so that some of these folks can boast in a few years that they could have been a presidential candidate...................
