I concur! In fact the Bible clearly states what will happen if we do take His name in vain.

“The LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name
in vain” (Exodus 20:7).

Last month I received an e-mail from Schwann’s (food - home delivery) regarding a new product. There it was in bold letters OMG - Guacamole! A long time customer, I immediately expressed my surprise at the company’s use of the Lord’s name in vain to peddle a product. I received a response telling me that my concern was being forwarded to management. I AM STILL WAITING. In the e-mail I also pointed out that a company that goes to such lengths to use the OMG acronym to add a little brevity in advertising will NOT be blessed.
