Back in the day, leisure time was not thought of as a chance to veg out, but as opportunity to pursue ones passions and interests, an outlet for the sides of a man that were not stimulated in ones career. Unfortunately, we now often spend our leisure time camped out in front of the TV or computer. We say that modern life has become too stressful, that when we have free time, laying on the couch is all we can manage.
The truth is that spending our leisure time in satisfying pursuits, fun work, will refresh us far more than a non-stop marathon of playing Call of Duty. Hobbies can bring you joy, increase your eye for detail, keep your mind sharp, expand your creativity, and help you meet friends and learn valuable skills. They add interest to your life and help you become a more well-rounded man. If youve been feeling depressed, restless, or apathetic, the problem may be the lack of having something in your life you feel passionate about, something that brings you needed fulfillment.

but KNITTING?
Computer programming? Not anymore full of hipster and pansies. Lots of gals too.
Bible study.
Vs Freezing. Yup. Knitting is quite manly.
It has new KYB struts and Falken DOT race tires. It stayed with the Z06 Corvette lap after lap. 37 MPG on the freeway. Miserable as a daily driver.
Anyone that can handle the sex from that, has to be tough.
Good manly hobby.
I do it on two wheels
I pull weeds and pick up dog poop frequently.
Fwiw.
From a Hairy chested man
Is that welded steel construction?
The 45 are interesting...
I consider bowling a sub-economic sport (don’t mean to offend anyone but it’s not a sport IMHO). Neither is Beer Pong.
Camping: I get why it’s on the list. It’s manly to pitch a tent and cook over a fire...
I live in the country and really can’t envision camping anymore. Heck! We had a moose run by the house this morning! We hop in the plane and fly to the city - the complete opposite of camping.
Lastly: Ballroom dancing?
I agree with the other poster who mentioned motorcycling and scuba.
Overall this list beats the crap out of the top 45 liberal wussie hobbies:
1) Fondle young boys
2) Women’s studies
3) Gay public sex in SF
4) Learning how to cook school lunches approved by the Obama Administration
5) Volunteering for the Clinton Global Initiative
Feel free to add you own!
Ah cuts down trees, I wear high hells, suspenders and a bra. I wish I’d been a girlie, just like my dear maw maw...
Actually, in all seriousness, back before Carhart and Underarmor, Lumberjacks DID wear nylons under the wool pants to cut the wind. Worked great too.
And looked FABulous in the camps ;)
I do two wheel stuff too. The engine in the MR2 was designed by Yamaha, like my bikes.
Ended up buying a 20ft. Melges Sea Scow....
It's quite fun......
Would love to sail the oceans some day...We shall see.
Bkmrk.
NICE!
I think Lulu means you Johnny, so please weigh in on this thread.
Flying is on the list...
Canoe/kayak
Yowza, not much original remaining! That is a nice rebuild and with the mid-engine layout she must be fun in the corners.
