>>TEXAS still has good prices for homes, and jobs. Liberals need not apply or come her<<
I relocated from Los Angeles, where I was born and raised, to Irving (N. Dallas), Texas.’
My first election as a resident (where I proudly claim credit for electing Ted Cruz), it amazed me that the R line was out the door — D’s walked in (with big sunglasses or newspapers covering their faces), cast their meaningless votes in a few seconds and skedaddled out. What a difference from California where most of the people at election precincts could not speak a single sentence in English.
We know about the Austin blue infection and am also praying that the idiot libtards who taxed themselves out of the California market do NOT settle here in North Texas.
Those couples on those shows have cake jobs working for the government, undoubtedly.
Who would want to live in those socialist run hell holes anyway? Home affordability is about four significant issues. Mortgage rates, (not bad today) house prices, (fairly high) insurance, (high in those democrat run cities shown) and TAXES, (I’ll let those speak for themselves.) Bottom line: Move to flyover country, get a job, save some money, and relax.
I cannot afford a place in Monaco, the French Riviera, Switzerland, etc. And I'm not even a millennial. It's so unfair!
...and Mexicans EVERYWHERE and a lack of zoning laws to keep the trash out...it’s also hot as hell in the summer and the Gulf beaches are filthy.
and muslims....
America is about to be Check-Mated.
Dallas County voted for Obama. Twice. You also can’t find a sizable city in Texas that is Mexican and Amish-free.
Despite working full time since leaving college at 21, I still couldn't afford my own home until I was 30, and that was a very modest one way out in the burbs where I had a 90 minute commute.
“Then how is it every house flipping show my wife watches the 28 year old millennials...
Mom and Dad are paying the down payment.
I know several well off parents in CA who have done this.
Which city in Florida do you live?
Delray Beach, but I was in the Philadelphia area when I bought my first house... worked in center city and lived way out in the burbs at the time.
They failed to list my neighborhood. Can’t tell you how many friends and family have wanted to move here and ran away screaming when they found out the prices.
Its a great area.
My grown children are both in that age group and own houses in the DC area.
Boy, am I lucky.
I wouldn’t want to live in any of those sheet holes anyway!
And neither do my well-adjusted and successful offspring.
It’s already happening. I picked up a home in Fairfield County CT for significantly less than what it sold for a few years ago. Lot of “For Sale” signs around here. Prices are tumbling.
DC is a grotesque economic timewarp area thanks to the Fed effect. Basically the 90s never ended for NOVA,MD and DC.
