Just a dumb old mud Marine at heart I guess, when we came back to the states we were all transferred to 5th MEB with 1st MarDiv. Got kicked loose (with Honorable) when they did a Force reduction. I guess as far as congress was concerned our war was over.
Please make sure your son knows that he is in my prayers every night, as are all Marines (and the squids, airdales and doggies). I don’t know how I would feel serving under this administration; I took an oath to the Constitution, not a person.
They can say what they want about old Crafty Richard; hell, I even got fire a 21 gun salute to him and the Pres of Mexico.
