Apparently the St. Louis baseball Cardinals employ some questionable
deontology in their scouting and player research departments; or perhaps they just figure that other folks do a better job so why not just steal their data.

It makes you wonder why they decided to hack not only good teams, but also the Astros. They must agree with bill belichek's philosophy that "cheating never goes out of style; no good organization stays on top by playing within the rules." One should note -- goodly sums of money in player contracts often hinge on these data, so there is plenty of motivation for teams with questionable integrity to steal them if they can.
