AIDS, prostatitis, urinary track infections, anal ruptures, etc., are all disproportionately much higher in the male homosexual population. Simple medical, and statistical fact.

If they used the same rationale on homosexual practices as they did on smoking, the positions should be similarly cautionary.

“First, do no harm” also means don’t advocate voluntary behavioral practices like smoking, drinking, and homosexual acts that are proven to be endangering to good health.

This is kind of unrelated, but is in the state of MA. I know the parents of a child with a mental handicap in jr high that came home and said she was a lesbian! This girl is very sweet but had no idea what she was even saying. It came out that the girl was being approached by another girl in school who would hold her hand and touch her leg. This girl has no mental handicap and had told others they are a “couple”. The furious parents had to meet with the school who told them they needed to accept their daughters sexuality! She literally is not at a level to even understand what that is. Because they have her diagnosed with a handicap and found out this girl claiming to be her “girlfriend” has done this before, and comes from a drug addled home with suspected abuse, these parents were able to get a court order that these two must be kept apart. Fortunately there are many teachers and other staff looking out for their daughter now that they know what's going on, The Special Ed dept and administration think the parents of the handicapped girl are bigots!

So if said hospital (or medical community) decided that morbid obesity and overeating were not only not to be criticized or merely tolerated, but applauded and encouraged, despite mountains of data showing that it is grossly unhealthy (ditto with an active homosexual lifestyle), that would be OK as long as it was “PC” (and well placed political activists there to threaten those that don’t toe the line). This is not only a gross violation of God’s Laws, it is a utter violation of the Hippocratic Oath to encourage and applaud a destructive and unhealthy lifestyle.
