This is exactly why, when conservatives sit on the sideline awaiting the 100% pure candidate, we damage ourselves. Election have consequences and this is one - the ability to select Supreme Court Justices who will sit for life. Look at the ages of Obama's picks - 55 and 61. They are not going anywhere for years.
Abortion, gay marriage, assaults upon Christianity... and we dare to sing God Bless America. Why would he bless us when we spit in his eye.
I didn’t stay home on election day. I voted for the most conservative candidate on my ballot in every slot. Sometimes that meant voting for Republicans. Sometimes not.
My point is that the Republican Party will never change unless its base stands up on its hind legs and challenges it. Romney wouldn’t have been Obama, yes, but as the inventor of gay “marriage”, the author of what became Obamacare and committer of numerous other sins against conservatism, he wouldn’t have been enough of a difference to make a difference. Voters saw it, and voted for the liberal they knew over the liberal they didn’t.
And Republicans who played along with Romney simply enabled more bad behavior on the part of the national party. That’s what gives us “leaders” like John Boehner and Mitch McConnell, who refuse to stand in opposition and punish those who do.
I’m an oldster too, Jedidah. But voting for the lesser of two evils ruined my nation and it’s ruined the future of my children and grandchildren.
No more. It’s conservatives or bust, and I’ll encourage all and sundry to join me. It is the only way. Come along, if you like. It may take years, but at least I’ll be able to look at myself in the mirror the morning after Election Day.

Churches will be attacked next. Why? Well because Bush started Faith Based Initiatives a good idea except for the fact Federal Dollars were used & now government will dictate church doctrines. BUSH supporters were warned and we were flamed for those warnings we gave. Oh and lets not by any means forget "W"'s choice of USSC Chief Justice Roberts! You were warned he would appoint liberals. The GOP has not put forth a credible Conservative POTUS Candidate in the general Election since 1984.

Your local governments need conservatives. Your school boards need conservatives. Your legislature needs conservatives. Your governor's mansion needs conservatives.
Your vote means plenty. Change is going to have to come from the grass roots.
There were three choices. I chose Gary Johnson (L)as he was an ideal candidate. A two term Republican governor of New Mexico. He vetoed 750 bills during his two terms, more than all other governors combined.
I want to vote for Ted Cruz. The nominee will be anointed before the Colorado primary. If you want me to vote Republican, get Cruz nominated. If Bush is the nominee I will vote for Hillary to keep him out.

No they don’t. It is like herding cats. They split between Santorum, Newt in 2012 which gave it to Romney. Of course the candidates themselves would not quit so that is why I say conservatives as a collective group. It is no different now. Without power all conservatives have are message boards
